I am 52 years old men, met a road accident just 4 months back. My left femur got brpcken and also left femur got damaged. I underwent for surgery. During surgery, the left femur head was replaced and the left femur was well aligned with use of plate and 8 screws. Doctor said and suggested that as on now, the femur head surgery is well healed. Whereas the broken femur bones not yet fused properly and there is a little gap between the bones till after this 4 months. The doctor suggester to go for daily dose of teriparatide injection for 3 months, in order to get merge of the broken bones. Is it correct treatment. Pl suggest.
